Part of what I want to do here is start keeping tabs on the NASL, so we know why we hate our opponents on any given week. To start, let’s take a look at the table for the season so far:
NASL Standings – 26 April 2013
|Minnesota United FC||2||1||1||0||2||4|
|Tampa Bay Rowdies||3||1||1||1||1||4|
|San Antonio Scorpions||2||0||1||1||-2||1|
|Fort Lauderdale Strikers||3||0||1||2||-4||1|
Not much to make predictions on yet, especially given that this is not much like last year’s final standings. Atlanta and Carolina, and Minnesota to an extent, are in good shape early on.
Sat 27 April: Minnesota at Atlanta and Tampa Bay at Ft Lauderdale
Sun 28 April: San Antonio at Edmonton
(bye for Carolina)
Atlanta-Minnesota is the pick of the weekend, I think. If Atlanta wins, the 3 wins from 3 games will make them the team to chase.
